UpMerch went from $1.9 million to $5 million a year in revenue
Kevin Aalstra runs UpMerch. He'd taught himself cold email for a year and a half and was doing $1.9 million a year. Then he stopped trying to keep up with the constant changes and brought us in. UpMerch is now doing $5 million a year.
Where they were stuck
UpMerch is run by Kevin Aalstra. Kevin joined the Closing Clients community and learned cold email himself. He ran his own outbound for a year and a half.
The problem was keeping up. Cold email is constantly changing. Google and Microsoft change their spam filters. New data sources appear. Old ones stop working. Kevin was spending too much time trying to stay current instead of running his actual business.
What we built for them
In early 2025, Kevin brought us in to run outbound with him. We took over the execution, the strategy, and the campaign management. Kevin stopped worrying about deliverability changes and started focusing on his business.
In early 2026, we sourced a new person from our network to help further. She now runs their inbox, their campaigns, and their opportunity identification. In Kevin's own words, she is doing better than they were ever doing before.

UpMerch went from $1.9 million a year in revenue to $5 million a year. That is over 3x the business, from the same company, in less than two years.
The sales calendar is at capacity every single week. The people they are talking to are bigger. The companies have more budget to spend. And the deals are closing faster than before.
We've had full meetings every week. We're basically at capacity every week since engaging Sean. And the ICP targeting has gotten better, so the meetings that we're having are with larger companies that have the money to pay. The deals are closing faster. It's been a great experience working with Sean and the Closing Clients team.
